Designer wallpaper trends

From oversize florals and jungle leaves to monochromatic prints and retro textures, today’s wallpaper designs can be used in a variety of interior styles from Modern Victorian to Japanese minimalism.
Thanks to technological advancements in printing and the artistry of illustrators and graphic designers, there is now an incredible range of options to choose from if you’re looking to create a feature wall, or completely transform your entire home or commercial space.
Eurowalls executive assistant Megan Martin said current wallpaper trends include natural finishes like cork and seagrass, and textured prints such as grass weave, suede, silk, flocking and glass beads.
“Industrial chic is also popular, with patterns of aged wooden planks, old driftwood, chipped bricks or cracked slate mirroring the DIY recycled trend,” she says. “A house or apartment that is architecturally unspectacular can be turned into a home with an urbane loft look.”
Here are a few of the latest international wallpaper trends to inspire you.

Three-dimensional textures reminiscent of crushed fabric and featuring natural colours such as sand, mocha, dove blue, slate grey and grass green – and reflected in solid-coloured patterns, watercolour flowers, intricate leaves and delicate stripes – bring a touch of the outdoor to interior spaces.

Graphical patterns, organic motifs and mesmerising trompe l'oeil designs create instant ambiance in relaxation spaces like bedrooms and bathrooms, while also adding a whimsical touch to common areas including hallways and powder rooms.

Striking monochromatic prints and patterns immediately transform a bare wall into a mesmerising design feature. Think bold geometric patterns for a teenager’s bedroom, classic floral motifs for the living room or stylish stripes with a matching floral trail for the kitchen.
