How to create a luxury bathroom on any budget

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]NO fantasy of a luxury holiday is complete without visions of an appropriately luxurious bathroom. The trouble with fantasy (and holidays) is they don’t last forever. But a real luxury bathroom at home is a definite possibility with a few simple or, depending on budget constraints, not-so-simple additions.   If the bathroom’s big enough, consider putting an armchair in the corner. Waiting for the tub to fill while curled up with a book will just enhance the whole bathtime experience. If the bathroom has a clear glass window, don’t obscure the view with a curtain - enjoy it.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image="2099" img_size="full" alignment="center"][vc_column_text]Plant some greenery outside for privacy and let nature add to the relaxing ambience of bathtime. Of course if some building is in order, why not replace that solid wall with floor to ceiling glass in the form of windows or even French doors. If you prefer paint, think carefully about the colour scheme. A soft grey-blue teamed with white will give a Parisienne charm to the room, while sky blue and white will bring a touch of the beach home to the suburbs. And why keep all those lovely gift soaps hidden? Put them on display in a crystal bowl then finish off with scented candles.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image="2098" img_size="full" alignment="center"][vc_column_text]A freestanding bath coupled with wall-hung toilet and basins is another way to get the resort look, but it’s the accessories that will really finish things off. Starting at the top, hang a gorgeous chandelier or other glamorous light fitting. Hang artworks on the walls or create a feature from wallpaper.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]A lavishly patterned floor (pictured) was the starting point of a bathroom renovation that showcased Raymor’s latest range of products and created a ‘template’ for the other elements of the relaxing home spa. The multi patterned tiles, featuring a mix of geometrics in a palette of warm greys, putty and white, made the choice of fixtures and fittings easy. Walls were finished in a similar putty coloured textured tile, while fixtures reflected the strong geometric lines within the tiles.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_single_image image="2127" img_size="full" alignment="center"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_column_text]Raymor’s new collection of bathroom products offers a choice of profile for major pieces, such as baths, basins and toilets, that are either clean and geometric or rounded and curved.  Taps and accessories complement the profiles to create a harmonious flow throughout.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The rectangular Aruba 1500mm freestanding bath with lumbar support was the first choice for this bathroom – and dictated the other pieces within the room. The rectangular profile of the bath is reflected in the clean white floor-mounted Tannah vanity, which has an integrated basin with pop-up waste and hair catcher plus soft close drawers and doors.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image="2128" img_size="full" alignment="center"][vc_column_text]Tapware continues the theme with the Andric tower basin mixer and the Leigh bath filler featuring long, angular lines.  The Andric has a spout reach of 161mm and a 4 star WELS rating.  Meanwhile, the Leigh bath filler has a height of 900mm and an elegant, slender profile. To complete the sense of unity, Tanami accessories were installed throughout, chosen for their simple, geometric profile that complement the other fixtures and fittings.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_single_image image="2125" img_size="full" alignment="center"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_column_text]Finally, the Byron - a wall-hung toilet suite with concealed cistern – ensures a perfect view of the beautifully tiled floor.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Details: tradelink.com.au.
