Homeloans opens in Townsville and Mackay
Homeloans is pleased to announce the recent opening of two new sales offices in Townsville and Mackay.
Local finance expert, Danny McLoughlin has opened Townsville’s first Homeloans branch conveniently located at 25 Thuringowa Drive in Kirwan. Danny and his team bring over 40 years’ combined mortgage experience.
“We’re proud to offer our local expertise with the backing of one of the most reputable lenders in the market, especially at a time of increasing economic confidence,” says Danny.
“We’ve noticed some very positive signs, with first home buyers now coming back into the Townsville market having saved good deposits – and this is naturally having a flow on effect with second and third home buyers, who are upgrading their properties. Additionally, with low residential rental vacancies in the region, the investment market is certainly steady.”
In addition to the new Townsville office, Cameron Shaxson has opened a new sales office in Mackay, located at 5 Milton Street, close to major shopping centres and local amenities. Cameron’s team offers over 50 years’ combined mortgage experience.
“We’ve opened a Homeloans office in Mackay as we saw a real need to offer the local community an alternative to the big four banks when it comes to home finance. The wide variety of Homeloans products and services will make a real difference in terms of consumer choice,” says Cameron, principal of Homeloans Mackay.
“Mackay and the surrounding areas have always been driven by owner occupiers and investors with one of the lowest rental vacancy rates in Australia, and the real estate opportunities here in Mackay at the moment are enormous.
“And given that we have a great understanding of the local mining industry and the shift work required, our team will be working flexible hours and offering streamlined services to meet the needs of Mackay’s homeowners and investors.
“We are also well placed to assist the recent influx of skilled workers into the area with a range of appropriate home finance products.”
