Homeloans wins Australia’s Best Non-Bank Lender award

Homeloans secured gold last night, winning the Best Non-Bank Lender of the Year Award – one of the highest accolades – at the 2011 Australian Lending Awards held in Sydney.
Homeloans, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, has been recognised for its leading position and being best-of-the-best, winning the national tribute to non-bank lending customer service excellence in the Australian mortgage industry.
Tony Carn, Homeloans’ general manager third party distribution, says: “We are honoured to be accredited with such a prominent industry accolade and to be acknowledged as a leading competitive mortgage provider. That’s paramount in our pursuit of excellence in the mortgage and finance industry.”
The Australian Lending Awards are one of the most rigorous in the mortgage and finance industry, the finest testament to quality and outstanding excellence. The awards are judged by an independent panel of business professionals and experts. An abundance of nominations were submitted by key industry players for the 12 hotly-contested categories.
At the industry Oscars-style night-of-nights, top banking and finance professionals and industry leaders converged at The Westin Sydney last night to celebrate and acknowledge the leading players of the mortgage industry.
“Our award vindicates the approach we’re taking to continue growing the Homeloans brand and business,” Carn says. “We have invested heavily in brand development in the past few years, aiming to build recognition of Homeloans' position as a professional organisation and non-bank lender that is a genuine alternative to the banks.
“A mark of Homeloans’ success has always been reflected in our ability to meet challenges head on and ultimately be rewarded for insight, innovation and excellence, core elements of our business.
“The Homeloans team looks forward to harnessing the significant benefits that will undoubtedly flow from our win, including the unique opportunity to enjoy the clear competitive edge that the awards provide in our communities and core markets.”
