Terms & Conditions:
1. Information on how to enter Homeloans’ ‘Win an iPad’ competition and the associated prize draw form part of the conditions of entry. Submission of an entry to the competition is deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. The prize is a 16GB Apple iPad 1 with Wi-Fi + 3G valued at approximately $598. Prize does not include a 3G micro-sim card or data plan.
3. Entrants must be residents of Australia,
over 18 years of age and not a member of the category of persons listed
in clause 11.
4. To enter the prize draw, entrants must leave a comment on the iPad competition section of the Homeloans Facebook page, about something they’ve given away to a friend. In order to access this page, the entrant must ‘Like’ the Homeloans page. The competition closes at 5pm (Eastern Standard Time) on Tuesday 31 May 2011, at which time all eligible entries will be judged by the Promoter on their creativity and merit in response to the question “tell us what you have given away to one of your lucky friends recently”.
5. Incomplete, illegible, incomprehensible, inappropriate or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
6. This is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each entry will be individually judged based on the creativity and merit of the comment left by the entrant.
7. The Promoter has the right to remove any entries which contains content that the Promoter, in their sole discretion, deems to be inappropriate, offensive, untruthful or a breach of privacy. Removed entries will be disqualified from the competition.
8. Competition commences at 9.00 am (EST) on Tuesday 12 April 2011 and concludes at 11.59pm (EST) on Tuesday 31 May 2011.
9. There is to be only one competition entry per person.
10. Homeloans takes no responsibility for lost, late or misdirected entries.
11. Employees of Homeloans, their families and associated companies are ineligible to enter.
12. The Promoter is Homeloans Ltd ABN 55 095 034 003. Level 2, 168 St Georges Tce, Perth WA 6000.
13. All entries become the property of the Promoter – Homeloans Ltd. The Promoter reserves the right to use the content of any entry for the purpose of future promotions.
14. Entry to the prize draw constitutes consent for Homeloans Ltd to use the entrant's contact details for future marketing activities conducted by Homeloans Ltd. If you do not wish to be contacted by Homeloans Ltd for future marketing purposes, please advise Homeloans Ltd by sending an email to marketing@homeloans.com.au.
15. The prize draw will be conducted on Wednesday 1 June 2011. The winner will be selected by the promoter from the competition entries. The promoter’s choice of winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. The winner will be notified by email within 10 days of the competition closing.
17. Details of the winner will also be published in Homeloans’ email newsletter
18. Homeloans accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to prizes in transit.
19. The Promoters make no representations or warranties relating to the quality or suitability of the prize.
20. In the event that the prize item is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize item of equal or greater value.
21. Except with the consent of the promoter, prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
