 Homeloans would like to welcome Tom Wells to the Queensland team.
Tom Wells began his career in Financial Services with Citibank in 1990, after having spent 10 years in sales and state manager roles in other industries, which he says gave him invaluable experience and understanding of the finance requirements of client. Tom was an Area Manager with Citibank on the Gold Coast during “the recession we had to have”, which he claims was much worse than the conditions we are currently experiencing. Several opportunities and challenges allowed Tom to gain further variety and experience with roles at Bank of Melbourne, Westpac and Bank of Queensland before joining AFG, where he spent the past 10 years.
“My Customer is King and always has been”, said Tom when asked of his philosophy and why he fits the Homeloans business so well.
“I have been inspired by the high service culture that respects the customer across all departments of Homeloans nationally,” he said.
“I love a challenge and look forward to being of service to the broker network, and the experience and knowledge that I have gained allows me to ‘Think Differently’!”
On a personal note, Tom is happily married with three adult children and says he can be easily distracted by travel, photography, boating, McLarenvale Shiraz (for health purposes), or a cold beer on a hot day!
